Just a little aside from the literary community, I was reading the new releases for fiction this fall to see if there was anything that was going to reside in my bookcase. This is a quote from the CNN article.
"Robert Hicks' "The Widow of the South," a Civil War novel, could become the year's big fiction debut. Anne Rice's "Christ the Lord" may be the most controversial release, a story about Jesus from an author known for more pagan narratives"
Well...no freaking duh. MAY be the most controversial release? That may be the understatement of the year considering the Anne Rice stuff I have read.
Sheesh.
Ya'll Come!
